After a bad experience at a campground in another town, we pulled in here hoping they had openings....luckily they did. The receptionist recommended a children's museum in town so our kids wouldn't get bored waiting. As soon as the family on site checked out it was checked over and we were called. We got to check in early no problem. Such great customer service! Clean, very family friendly. We can't wait to come back again! Thanks for the positive experience!
Great place for families not so much fpr older adults. Al you hear all day are kids screaming. I know they need to play and that's fine. But it goes until quiet hour of 10pm. Last night past 11pm. No security drives around after 10 to enforce quiet hour albeit kids playing and yelling or dogs barking because (I assume) because of noise from kids. Recommend coming after school starts during the week. Hopefully better.
The close proximity to the Ludington business district, Lake Michigan and beautiful beaches makes Vacation Station one of our favorites.
Clean campground. Friendly staff and service. Area offers all the retail, grocerie shopping, and restaurants you would need during your stay. Minutes from lake Michigan. Great small downtown area, with bars and restaurants and small shops. Lots to do on the weekends, concerts bonfires etc.
This is a beautiful Campground. We had a large pull-thru site that was paved with a double wide concrete pad. A full service RV resort with all the amenities that you would expect. The staff was friendly and helpful. I immediately noticed how spotless and beautiful Vacation Station is.
Nice size spots. Big pull through spots. Big rig friendly. Resort has bikes for kids to ride if they don't have one. Heated swimming pool until first week in September. Friendly camp host. Pet friendly. Propane fill up available. We have enjoyed our stay and we'll stay here again.
