My review is only for the boat rental. Scotty was very chill and easy going. The pontoon suited our needs. We had an amazing time out on the water. My husband and I intended on staying in one of the cottages however they are very basic and I would not recommend staying there with a baby or if you are picky about cleanliness. The location however is amazing. Thanks Scotty!
Best boat rental prices in the area! We had the best experience dealing with Scotty. He made us feel like we had known.each other for years. He was very accomodating and honest. Business owners would do well to model his customer service. I have and will.continue to recommend The Waterside Resort to everyone
Every year in July our family goes to Ludington for the fireworks on Hamlin Lake. Waterside Resort is the only boat rental on Hamlin Lake that appears to rent that evening. They made it so convenient, Scotty assured us he'd have a flashlight shining into the lake when we returned and sure enough he did - made it super easy to find and return the boat. The boat is a great size, we had 8 adults and 2 teenagers and still had room for more. If you've never seen the fireworks on Hamlin Lake, it's an event not to miss and seeing them from a boat on the lake is the best place to be!
We have rented a pontoon from Waterside on two occasions this year. Both times we received great customer service and a clean safe boat. Recommend for fun and fishing !
Awesome...We had the best time. Great location. Absolutely beautiful Lake. Gorgeous sunrise and Sunset. Our cottage was waterside and the boat we rented from them docked just a stone throw away. The kids want to come back, even if only for their Delicious icecream.
